Bishop Edward J. Weisenburger is a Catholic bishop who currently serves as the 10th Bishop of Tucson, Arizona. He was born on December 23, 1960, and ordained as a priest in 1987 for the Archdiocese of Oklahoma City. Before being appointed as the Bishop of Tucson in 2019, he served as the sixth Bishop of Salina, Kansas, from 2012 to 2019. Bishop Weisenburger is known for his advocacy work for migrants and refugees, and he has been recognized for his commitment to social justice issues, such as healthcare reform and poverty reduction. He holds a Bachelor of Theology from St. Meinrad School of Theology in Indiana and a Master of Divinity from the Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C.
